
1. Indian Space
Research Organisation (ISRO) created history by successfully launching a
record 104 satellites in single mission.
These satellites were launched on board of Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C37, on its 39th mission from
Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota,
Andhra Pradesh.’

8. According to a new study of global
air pollution India’s rapidly worsening air pollution is now surpassing
China’s as the deadliest in the world. The report was issued jointly by Health
Effects Institute, a Boston research institute focused on the health effects of
air pollution, and Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation, Seattle based
population health research centre.

11. Pakistani Career diplomat Tehmina
Janjua was appointed as the Foreign Secretary of Pakistan by Prime Minister
Nawaz Sharif.She is the first women to be appointed on the post and will serve
as the 29th Foreign Secretary of Pakistan.
12. Australian cricketer Adam Voges
has decided to retire from all formats of international
cricket after playing his last match as captain of the team Prime
Minister’s XI against Sri Lanka in Canberra.
