recruitment of 696 Sub Inspector (SI) vacancies (Executive &
Armed wings) in various districts. Eligible candidates can apply
online from notification released date(2nd week of January) to 30

1. Armed Police: 176 Posts
2. Executive Police: 482 Posts
Age Limit:
Candidates age should be between 18-28 years as on 01-01-2016. The
candidates born before 01-01-1998 and after 31-12-1997 shall not be
eligible. More details refer notification.
Educational
Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduate in any
discipline or equivalent from any Government recognized board.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on PET, PST , written examination
followed by viva-voce/personality test.
Application Fee:
Candidates should deposit Rs. 300/- through online or use the
services of Common Service Centers & in case of non availability
of online payment facility, deposit through Bank Challan.

Eligible candidates may apply online through the website
www.jkpolice.gov.in. Last
date for submission of online application form shall be 30 days after
the activation of link which will be notified seperately in the
second week of January 2017.
