SSC Eastern Region Recruitment 2014 – Assistant and Other Posts

SSC Eastern Region Recruitment 2014 – Data Processing, Technical Asst Vacancies: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Eastern Region has released a recruitment notification for the recruitment of various Group B and Group C Posts. Applications are invited for filling up 59 various vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates may submit their applications on or before 17th February 2014.

•     Store Assistant: 02
•     Deputy Ranger: 01
•     Data Processing Assistant: 29
•     Investigator (Language): 06
•     Scientific Assistant (Physical-Civil): 02
•     Junior Technical Assistant (JTA): 19

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 27 years for Store Asst post, 28 years for Dy Ranger post,   29 years for Data Processing Asst post and 30 years for other remaining posts as on 17-02-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rules.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have the qualification of Degree from any recognized university for Store Assistant, must have passed Intermediate or its equivalent or trained Forester or Trained Forest Guard from the Regional forest school for Deputy Ranger, Degree of a recognized University with Science, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Statistics or equivalent for Data Processing Asst, Master’s Degree in Linguistics from any recognized University for Investigator posts, Master’s Degree in Physics or Chemistry Technology/ Engineering or degree in Civil Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent for or degree in Chemical Scientific Assistant posts and Degree in Commerce or Economics or Degree in Law from a recognized University for Technical asst posts.

Application Fee: Applicants will have to pay Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) as application fee in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) which are available at the counter of all Post Offices. SC/ ST/ Female and Ex-Servicemen category candidates are exempted from paying application fee.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination, Interview, Skill test and Personality test.
