NVS Recruitment 2014 – Apply Online for 937 Post/ Trained Graduate Teacher Vacancies: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released a recruitment notification for the PGT and TGT posts. Online applications are invited for filling up 937 Post Graduate Teacher and Trained Graduate Teacher vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates may apply through online mode from 1st February to 28th February 2014.

Subject wise & Category wise post details:

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 40 years for PGT Post and age limit should not exceed 35 years for TGT Posts as on 31-01-2014. Check out the Age relaxation details for this opening.

•     SC/ ST Category candidates: 5 years
•     OBC Candidates: 3 years
•     Women SC/ ST/ OBC candidates:  10 years
•     NVS Employee: 5 years

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualification.

• For Post Graduate Teacher: Two year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate or Master Degree from any recognized university in the concerned subjects.
• For Trained Graduate Teacher: Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with minimum of  50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subjects.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 560/- (Rs. 500/- as application fee and Rs. 60/- as Bank Service charges) in the form of bank challan at the nearest Branch of Union Bank of India.  No application fee is to paid by SC/ ST/ PH categories and women candidates.

    For PGT Post: Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4800)
    For TGT Post: Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4600)


Selection Process: Selections of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview.

Online Application Form: Interested Applicants are required to apply through online mode by filling online application on NVS’s official website at www.navodaya.nic.in from 1st February to 28th February 2014.

After filling online application candidates are required to take print out of the same and affix a recent passport size photograph on it and keep it for record purpose.
